Treasury Operations Specialist

Responsibilities
- Payment Initiation: Daily recording and execution of business transactions (manual data entry and batch/bulk uploading) across various online banking platforms and EMIs in strict accordance with the approved payment registry.
- Routing & Details Verification: Selecting the optimal outgoing bank route based on internal policies and proactively validating counterparty banking details (IBAN, SWIFT codes, Sort Codes, ABA/Routing numbers) to minimize payment returns.
- Payment Processing: Executing international and local transactions, including SWIFT, SEPA, and Intercompany transfers.
- Status Monitoring & Investigations: Tracking transaction statuses, sending payment confirmations (proof of payment) to internal initiators, and liaising with banks regarding rejected, pending, or returned transactions.
- Compliance Support: Providing required supporting documentation (invoices, contracts) in response to bank compliance and AML/KYC requests.
Requirements
- Experience: 1-2+ years of experience in Treasury, a bank back-office, or a finance department with a strong focus on payment processing.
- Payment Systems: Understanding and hands-on experience with international payment systems, specifically SWIFT and SEPA transfers.
- Banking Tools: Experience working with various online banking platforms, Electronic Money Institutions (EMIs), and validation of global payment details.
- Compliance: Basic understanding of banking compliance procedures (KYC/AML) as they apply to daily transactions.
- Data & Soft Skills: Ability to work with large volumes of data, advanced skills in spreadsheets, high level of accountability, and exceptional attention to detail.
- Languages: Solid Intermediate English or higher (for communicating with international bank support teams) + fluency in Ukrainian or Russian.
- Work Format: Ready for a 100% office-based role in Cyprus with a normalized, stable work schedule.
Will be a plus
- Prior experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, 1C, etc.) and European banks/EMIs.
- Experience working with non-resident companies in various international jurisdictions.
