Trading and Risk Team Lead

Responsibilities
- Oversee daily dealing operations, including trade execution and order flow management, ensuring timely and efficient trading activities across multiple asset classes
- Lead and manage the risk and dealing team, ensuring high levels of performance, engagement, and continuous development
- Manage the company’s risk exposure by monitoring market risk, credit risk, and liquidity risk, implementing appropriate risk management frameworks and hedging strategies
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies, maintaining operational integrity and minimising risk
- Collaborate closely with trading, compliance, and IT teams to ensure the seamless operation of trading platforms and systems
- Analyse trading performance and risk metrics, providing detailed reports and insights to senior management
- Work with liquidity providers and other external stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of trading operations
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and technological advancements in the CFD and multi-asset trading space
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a dealing and risk management role within a CFD or multi-asset brokerage, with at least 2 years in a senior or team lead position
- Strong understanding of financial markets, particularly CFDs, forex, commodities, indices, and equities
- Deep knowledge of risk management practices in a trading environment, including hedging strategies, margin requirements, and exposure limits.
- Proficiency in using trading platforms such as MetaTrader 4/5, cTrader, or proprietary systems
- Familiarity with regulatory environments across multiple jurisdictions, including Europe, Middle East and Asia-Pacific
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make quick, informed decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Strong leadership and team management abilities, with a proven track record of developing and motivating high-performing teams
- Upper-intermediate English and Fluent Ukrainian or Russian proficiency
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field. Professional qualifications (e.g., CFA, FRM) are a plus
